     All the candidates are crorepattis
                             Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.
Â
We have seen declarations of all the candidates in India who are applying for contesting 2009 general elections in India and all are declaring that they are crorepattis. And when we come to know that thousands of crore of ruppes are lying in Swiss banks, we are not surprised because the people who can own such huge estates may be having such bank balances with them.
We are surprised to note that while making election law in this country the people who were framing this law ignored the fact that the people declaring assets and properties must also give with it the details from which source they had been collecting such huge amounts. When that law is missing from the statutory books, the people are proud of the fact that they are possessing such huge amounts in cash and in shape of properties. They had been looting the people and in spite of this fact they are not ashamed of and they are openly roaming amongst the people and are demanding their votes and telling them that they shall come and shall serve them. Mahatma Gandhi had been promising us that he shall establish Ram rajaya in this country, but now he is not available with us to give us an answer and tell us where is that Ram rajaya when the people in power are snatching away all the wealth from the people who are actually establishers of this wealth. The people in power are given power by the people and therefore, they are servants of the people, but where the servants are rich and the masters are poor, we cannot say that such a state is a democracy. There is something wrong with the definition of democracy or there is something wrong in our country where we have adopted democracy as a form of government with us.
We have been told that money is lying in Swiss banks and our people are not in a position to bring back this money. Mr. advani is assuring us that he shall bring back this money, but we cannot have faith in that fellow because their party had got the chance once, but they too had failed to bring this money back to India for utilization for the welfare of the people. Mr. Manmohan singh too failed to bring this money back because people in the party may be holding some amounts and they do not want to be exposed before the people.
Who shall be having courage enough to bring this money back and utilize the same for the welfare of the people who are the real owners of this money? This is question which shall remain unanswered and this looting process shall continue in our country.
All the candidates are crorepattis and we must be proud of this fact that our rulers are not poor people. At least our rulers must be rich because only rich can control the country and the poor people are not expected to control the country. The people of India are masters of the country but it is just a paper transaction and such a course is mentioned in our constitution to show the world that we are a largest democracy in the world people are looted through scams, scandals, muddles, bribes, higher prices, smuggling etc. etc. and not allowed to raise their heads.
